DANEDEN · IRRIGATION AND LANDSCAPING CEDAR PARK, TX

Irrigation and landscaping, from a licensed irrigator who knows soil

TCEQ Licensed Irrigator LI0031905 · Cedar Park, TX

I convert thirsty spray zones to drip, set up smart controllers, and check whether your system suits your soil and plants, so you stop overwatering and paying for it.

I fix what's broken, and I build landscapes that work with the water: native beds, xeriscape, drainage and stone.

Water where it's needed, and only as much as your soil can take

Most of the savings come from drip where it belongs and a schedule matched to your soil and plants. I also fix whatever is broken along the way.

Drip and smart controllers: the biggest water saver

Spray heads waste water on beds, walls and sidewalks. Drip puts it at the roots, and a weather-based controller skips the days your yard doesn't need it.

  • Spray-to-drip conversion for beds, shrubs and trees
  • Weather-based smart controller, installed and programmed
  • Pressure regulation and filtration set up right
  • Help with utility rebates when the upgrade qualifies

Water check-up: start here if nothing's broken

A full look at how your system is really performing, with a written report you keep. This is where my soil background matters most.

  • Pressure and coverage test, zone by zone
  • Soil check: how fast your ground takes water
  • Schedule matched to your plants and watering rules
  • List of fixes, and rebates you may qualify for

DANEDEN · LANDSCAPING

Landscapes built to work with the water

Plants, stone and grading planned together with the irrigation, so everything gets the water it needs and nothing more.

Client project: river rock groundcover with a mulched, steel-edged tree ring

What is xeriscape?

Landscaping designed to thrive on little or no extra water. It doesn't mean gravel and cactus: done well, it's a full, green yard of native and adapted plants that handles Central Texas summers.

Xeriscape conversions

  • Thirsty turf replaced with native and adapted plants
  • Soil prepared and mulched so roots go deep
  • Drip irrigation zoned to each plant group
  • Paths, stone and beds laid out to fit your HOA
  • Help with utility rebate programs for turf conversion

Planting and native beds

Drought-tolerant and native plants chosen for your soil, sun and HOA rules, in properly prepared beds.

Drainage solutions

Grading, drain boxes and dry creek beds for standing water, washouts and runoff toward the house.

Stone, paths and walls

Gravel and flagstone paths, river rock, small patios and retaining-wall repair.

Sod and lawn renovation

New sod on prepared, amended ground, with irrigation set to get it established.

Dan Shalev, owner of DanEden LLC, smiling in a cap on a job site

Hi, I'm Dan Shalev

I'm a soil and water agronomist. I've worked in water systems engineering, nursery agronomy and large-scale agriculture, including field work in Ethiopia, and I taught environmental science for eight years. I started DanEden in Cedar Park in 2026 to bring that background to home landscapes.

I'm a TCEQ Licensed Irrigator (LI0031905), so irrigation work is designed and installed to Texas code. I run the business myself, so the person who quotes your job is the person who does it.

I'll tell you honestly what your yard needs, including when the cheaper option is the right one.

Living in an HOA?

I can help prepare the photos and plans your HOA asks for, before any work starts.
